In an exclusive interview with the “New York Post”, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he prefers negotiating a deal with Iran regarding its non-nuclear program rather than resorting to military action. He affirmed that if a deal is reached, Israel will not strike Iran.

However, Trump did not disclose details of potential negotiations with Tehran, only emphasizing that he would tell Iran what needs to be said and hoping that it would avoid any military escalation.

When asked about the concessions he might offer Iran, Trump refused to provide details but insisted that he would not resort to military strikes.

Earlier this month, Trump signed a memorandum reinstating the “maximum pressure” policy on Iran, aimed at preventing Tehran from developing a nuclear weapon.

On the other hand, Iran rejected these accusations, calling them a “big lie” while affirming that it was ready to give the U.S. another chance to resolve their disputes. However, Tehran emphasized that the past nuclear deal experience proved that the U.S. does not honor its commitments.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned that any Israeli or U.S. attack on Iranian nuclear facilities would be a grave mistake, asserting that Tehran would respond immediately and decisively, which could lead to a full-scale war in the region.

Netanyahu: Normalization with Saudi Arabia Depends on Iran’s Nuclear Program

In an interview with Fox News, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that normalization with Saudi Arabia will only happen when Israel is certain that Iran does not possess nuclear weapons.

He stressed that the normalization agreement could be finalized once the Middle East undergoes further changes and Iran’s influence is significantly reduced.

During his recent meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump in Washington, Netanyahu discussed the importance of preventing Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

He explained that eliminating Hamas and ensuring Iran is free of nuclear weapons are two key conditions for signing a deal with Saudi Arabia and other nations.

Netanyahu also addressed several key Middle Eastern issues, including the situation in Gaza, the displacement of its population under Trump’s plan, the elimination of Hamas, the release of Israeli hostages, the Iranian nuclear file, and normalization with Saudi Arabia.

He emphasized that Israel’s moves in the region aim to reshape the political and security landscape in its favor and counter Iranian influence.
