The Deputy Governor of Nouakchott South, Mr. Mohamed El Amine Tatah, received a significant shipment of sacrificial meat on Thursday morning, generously provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During the handover ceremony, the deputy governor expressed his gratitude to the Kingdom for this initiative aimed at supporting the most vulnerable groups in Nouakchott. The Saudi Ambassador to Mauritania, Dr. Abdel Aziz Bin Abdullah Al-Raqabi, highlighted that this donation is part of the Kingdom’s annual program for distributing sacrificial meat, underscoring the strong historical ties between the two brotherly nations. The Mayor of El Mina Municipality, Mr. Moussa Ould Abdallah, also extended his thanks to Saudi Arabia for its continuous support to the Mauritanian people. The ceremony was attended by the Prefect of El Mina, military and security authorities, and the Saudi delegation responsible for delivering the donation.
