Israeli Outrage Over Walmart Selling T-Shirts Featuring Yahya Sinwar

The sale of t-shirts featuring the image of the late Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar on Walmart’s website sparked outrage in Israel. Israeli media, including "Maariv," criticized the unregulated sale, while an American anti-Semitism advocacy group called on the company via the platform X to remove the products, accusing it of promoting terrorism. Walmart later removed the images from its website. Yahya Sinwar was killed on October 17, 2024, during a clash with Israeli forces in Rafah, southern Gaza, after a year of active involvement in battles against the Israeli military.
