The National Local Team Defeats Mali and Nears Qualification for CHAN 2025

The national local team secured an important 1-0 victory over Mali in the first leg of the decisive qualifiers for the African Nations Championship (CHAN 2025), held at Cheikha Ould Boïdiya Stadium. The lone goal was scored by Mammy Tetah in the 64th minute after a brilliant pass from Ahmed Ahmed. The team aims to achieve a positive result in the second leg, scheduled for December 29 in Mali’s capital, to secure qualification for the CHAN finals, set to take place in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda in February 2025.
