Mauritanian President Departs Madrid for Abu Dhabi

 His Excellency the President of the Republic, President of the African Union, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, departed the Spanish capital, Madrid, on Thursday evening, heading to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates at the invitation of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, to attend the celebrations marking the 53rd anniversary of the Union. Upon his arrival at Abu Dhabi International Airport on Friday morning, December 6, 2024, the President received an official welcome from His Excellency Mr. Abdullah bin Awad Al Nuaimi, the UAE Minister of Justice, as well as His Excellency Mr. Hamad Ghanem Hamad Al Muhairi, the UAE Ambassador accredited to Mauritania. This warm reception underscores the strength of bilateral relations and the two nations’ commitment to enhancing their mutual cooperation.
