Assassination of Police Intelligence Chief in Bandar Lengeh, Southern Iran, in Suicide Attack (Watch Photos and Video)

Mojtaba Shahidi, the Police Intelligence Chief in Bandar Lengeh, southern Iran, was killed, and his assistant injured, in a suicide attack on Saturday evening. The incident occurred in front of the police intelligence building when the attacker stopped the chief’s car and detonated an explosive device after he exited the vehicle.

The attack resulted in the death of the intelligence chief and injuries to his assistant. Photos and videos accompanying reports reveal the destruction caused by the explosion at the scene. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
