Maroc et la Mauritanie ont signé un accord historique pour le développement et la mise en œuvre d’une interconnexion électrique entre les deux pays. e initiative vise à renforcer la fiabilité des réseaux électriques nationaux, à améliorer leurs performances et à ouvrir des perspectives d’échanges énergétiques entre le Maroc, la Mauritanie, l’Europe et l’Afrique de l’Ouest, dans le cadre du Système d’Échange d’Énergie Électrique Ouest-Africain (WAPP). Ennectant leurs réseaux électriques, les deux nations cherchent à optimiser l’utilisation de leurs ressources en énergies renouvelables et à promouvoir une intégration énergétique régionale accrue. L’ac inclut également des dispositions pour le partenariat dans divers domaines, tels que l’échange d’experts et la formation du personnel entre les deux organisations. Cette aboration s’inscrit dans le cadre des orientations de Sa Majesté le Roi Mohammed VI et de l’Initiative Royale Atlantique, visant à renforcer l’intégration africaine et à promouvoir la coopération Sud-Sud.
Moroccodauritania have signed a historic agreement to develop and implement an electrical interconnection between the two countries. This initia aims to enhance the reliability of national electrical grids, improve their performance, and open avenues for energy exchanges between Morocco, Mauritania, Europe, and West Africa within the framework of the West African Power Pool (WAPP). By connectingir electrical networks, the two nations seek to optimize the use of their renewable energy resources and promote greater regional energy integration. The agreement aincludes provisions for partnership in various areas, such as the exchange of experts and personnel training between the two organizations. This collaboratioigns with the directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and the Royal Atlantic Initiative, aiming to strengthen African integration and promote South-South cooperation.
