Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, stated during a meeting with a delegation from Hamas in Tehran that the Palestinian resistance successfully thwarted the plans of the United States and Israel, preventing them from achieving their objectives.
During the meeting held this Saturday, Khamenei emphasized that Gaza’s victory was not only over Israel but also over the United States, asserting that American threats have no influence on the Iranian people, its leaders, or its young activists.
He added that the Palestinian people’s suffering has ultimately led to a victory of justice over oppression, and that the people of Gaza have become a symbol of resilience. He also described the ceasefire agreement negotiated by Hamas as a major achievement.
Khamenei reaffirmed that supporting Palestine and defending its people’s rights are fundamental principles in Iran, stressing that the Palestinian cause remains a top priority for his country and that Palestine’s victory is inevitable.
Addressing the Hamas delegation, he emphasized that challenges and fluctuations should never weaken the determination of the resistance, adding that the day will certainly come when Palestinians reclaim Jerusalem for the Islamic world.
He also stressed that it is the duty of the entire Muslim world and all supporters of the resistance to assist the people of Gaza and alleviate their suffering. Finally, he asserted that the final victory of the Palestinian people is certain and inevitable.
For its part, the Hamas delegation expressed its gratitude to Iran and its people for their unwavering support of the Palestinian cause.
