According to Swedish public television, police and emergency services were called late on Wednesday night, shortly after 11 PM, to a residential area in Hovsjö, Södertälje, following reports of gunfire.
According to Daniel Wikdahl, spokesperson for the Stockholm police, a man in his forties was found with a gunshot wound inside his apartment and was rushed to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
