Support for Farmers in Interior Regions with Large Quantities of Potato Seeds

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture, Ahmed Salem Ould El-Arbi, supervised the dispatch of 837 tons of chemically treated potato seeds from Nouakchott to production areas in the interior regions. This initiative aims to support the vegetable planting campaign, which will cover approximately 450 hectares, with an expected yield of 18,000 to 20,000 tons of potatoes. The quantity of seeds sent has increased by 35% compared to last year, enhancing the ministry's response to the growing needs of the agricultural sector.
