The Jordanian pilgrim, Dr. Salman Al-Masaeid, announced on his Facebook page that he performed Hajj on behalf of the leader "Yahya Sinwar, head of Hamas in the Gaza Strip." He wrote in a post: "Leader Yahya Sinwar performed Hajj this year. I was honored to perform Hajj on behalf of the heroic leader Yahya Sinwar. Labbayk Allahumma Hajj on behalf of the heroic leader Yahya Sinwar. Happy Eid to you, proud people of Gaza... May God accept your jihad and ribat, and may God protect all the men of the resistance. Allahu Akbar, and victory to the resistance."
