Heading Toward a Full Strike in the Health Sector:

Dr. Mohamed Ould Amiya, President of the Specialist Doctors' Union and member of the Health Unions' Coordination, stated that today's work stoppage is part of escalating steps toward a full strike. He reported that this stoppage witnessed a response exceeding 90%, expressing his dissatisfaction with the ministry's failure to respond to the urgent demands of the medical teams. Resident doctors have carried out a comprehensive strike that has paralyzed the health sector in recent weeks.
