Demands for an international arrest warrant against former Senegalese President Macky Sall  

Boubacar Séye, researcher and president of the organization "Horizon sans Frontières," has called forthe issuance of an international arrest warrant against former Senegalese President Macky Sall,following his replacement by Bassirou Diomaye Faye. Séye, who was imprisoned during Sall's regime, accuses the former president of committing political and economic crimes and calls for his extradition to be tried in Senegal. This request comes after Macky Sall attempted to delay the presidential election and tried to pass an amnesty law to drop charges related to crimes and misdemeanors during political protests that occurred between 2021 and February 2024.
