In Nouakchott, the Minister of Petroleum, Mines, and Energy, Mr. El Hacen Ould Echrouk, conducted an inspection visit to “Rim Gaz,” “Mourigaz,” and “Somagaz” companies involved in the importation of domestic gas. The visit, part of the preparations for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan, aimed to ensure the smooth operation of gas importation, distribution, and its adequate availability in the national market. The Minister emphasized the significant support provided by the state for gas within the comprehensive support program, with subsidized prices set to alleviate the burden on citizens. The tour was attended by government officials, representatives from the private sector, and consumers, highlighting the government's commitment to ensuring food security and supporting vital sectors.
