Italian Hotel Manager Refuses Reservation from Israeli Couple

The hotel sent a message to the couple via the "Booking.com" platform asking them to cancel their reservation, stating that they were not welcome.

The incident sparked outrage among Jewish communities, who described it as an example of anti-Semitism. Dario Calimani, president of the Jewish community in Venice, stated that such behavior spreads hatred against all Israelis. Meanwhile, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that it is investigating the matter. The hotel manager has deactivated his Facebook account and declined to comment on the incident.
