President Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani also held a meeting with local officials and stakeholders in Nouadhibou to discuss the sustainable development challenges facing the region. During the meeting, he called for optimal exploitation of fishery resources to support the national economy, stressing the need to provide essential services like water and electricity to citizens. The president also mentioned that holding the cabinet meeting in Nouadhibou aims to enhance local economic development and achieve regional balance. He highlighted the government's commitment to decentralization goals, allowing citizens to interact directly with officials to more easily present their issues. The visit also underscored the importance of national unity, eliminating educational disparities, and enhancing social cohesion.
