Distribution of Boats to Fishermen in Mal and Bababé Districts

The Wali of Brakna, Mr. Mohamed Ould Essalek, supervised the distribution of a set of boats today in Aleg, provided by the Agency for the Development of Fishing and Aquaculture in Inland Waters, under the Ministry of Fisheries and Maritime Economy, to benefit some fishermen in the districts of Mal and Bababé. The Wali emphasized the importance of inland fishing in combating poverty and ensuring food security. The Mayor of Mal Municipality, Mr. Issa Ould Bou Hamady, highlighted the significance of these boats in supporting the population. The Director General of the Agency, Mrs. Zeinebou Mint Ayeih, explained that the distribution of these boats is part of the directives of the President of the Republic aimed at improving the living conditions of the population.
