The head of the Third Chamber of Investigation, responsible for narcotics and psychotropic substances cases at the Western Nouakchott Court, ordered the imprisonment of the young woman M.W. after the public prosecutor accused her of violating religious values, consuming alcohol, and breaching Islamic principles through the publication of an audio-visual recording. This action was taken based on the relevant articles of the Penal Code.
