Voter Turnout:
The Independent National Electoral Commission announced that voter turnout in the elections reached 40%, approximately an hour before the legal voting period ended.

Earlier, at 1:00 PM, the Commission had announced a voter turnout of about 12%.
Allegations of Voting Irregularities:
Representatives of opposition candidates in Akjoujt reported suspected cases of fraud in "Damane" polling stations during the presidential elections. Allegations include voting by minors and other illegal practices, prompting their outcry and a call for immediate intervention from the Independent Electoral Commission.
The campaign of candidate Hamadi Ould Sidi stated they observed violations during the voting process across Mauritania, emphasizing that the integrity of the electoral process would be compromised by the spread of these violations. The campaign pointed to the responsibility of supporters of the other candidate, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, in most of these infractions, and urged the Independent Electoral Commission to intervene promptly to address the reported violations.
