A group of gold prospectors in the Tiris Zemmour region, located at the northern border of Mauritania, was subjected to an aerial bombing from an unknown source last night, resulting in the death of two of them, namely Syed Ould Baba Ould Ahmed Obeid and Mohamed Yahya Ould Abdallah. The bodies of the deceased were transported to the city of Zouerate, and a funeral prayer is scheduled for them at the Ibn Abbas Mosque in the capital, Nouakchott.
