Ugandan army chief Muhoozi Museveni sparked outrage after posting on "X" a threat to invade Khartoum with the support of former US President Donald Trump. Although the post was later deleted, it drew a strong reaction from Sudan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which demanded an official apology and described the remarks as "irresponsible and dangerous."
Sudan also called on the African Union and international organizations to condemn these statements, considering them a violation of state sovereignty and a threat to regional and international security. Muhoozi Museveni is known for his controversial remarks, having previously threatened to invade Kenya.
