Since Israel began its war on the Gaza Strip, there have been multiple verbal exchanges between Turkey and Israel, with statements, accusations, and condemnations. However, tensions reached their peak in recent days. Two days ago, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan posted a tweet on his official account on the platform X, where he said: "We will defend Palestine with the same spirit, determination, and courage as our ancestors who held on to it throughout history. We will speak the truth and defend it both domestically and internationally, and we will stand by the innocent who resist against the murderers."Erdogan escalated his rhetoric even further yesterday by openly threatening Israel with military intervention to protect the Palestinians. Here’s what he said:
"We must have enough power so that Israel cannot do what it is doing in Palestine. Just as we intervened in Karabakh and Libya before, we can do the same here. Nothing prevents us from being strong enough to take this step."
